Room and bathroom: Room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom too was very spacious and i especially loved the transparent glass wall separating the bathroom and the room. The furniture and linen in the room was very neat and clean befitting the name of the Marriot. Our room was facing the water body that we had seen just behind the reception desk. I especially loved the towel art by the housekeeping staff. Everyday it was a new one...!!
Dining: The best part was the restaurant Okra where food was amazing and its waiting staff and the chefs are the best....so warm, caring and cordial they make u feel so comfortable.... I would especially like to mention the name of the chef Pankaj who was with us till our last day. He made my favourite chicken malai tikka especially for me only which was not in the buffet menu for others. And also he guided me so well to the salon in the hotel....everybody else was very nice and gave a really good service.
The Okra restaurant offered a splendid view of the pool area. I especially loved the view of the elephant statue fountains while dining there. We also had some light snacks and coffee at the Bakery shop of the hotel which was also good.
Pool area: The Jaipur Marriot has a very big and beautifully designed pool area. The most stunning feature of this area that i liked the most were the elephant statues with a water outlet in their mouths. The architecture is really commendable here and I especially loved the three engraved sheets on the walls besides the swimming pool that gave a unique look to this area.
Salon: The salon is located just opposite the swimming pool. I must this was the only thing that i just didn't like about this hotel. The salon was very dirty and the staff was totally unprofessional. I think even the budget salons in Delhi are better than this.
However all in all it was still my best stay in Jaipur and was worth the money.the stay was memorable...
