Love my Beaded choker
Hola everyone. How you've been ..? Well I was quite busy with my Diwali celebrations last week doing my ethnic wardrobe and all. But there was one thing that never left me and my mind during this ethnic festival and that was the choker which has become the fantasy of so many girls worldwide. These chokers became a fashion statement in the 90s and are now back in fashion.  I must say I have become kind of obsessed with them. I want them all the time with all my outfits. And the best part is that there are so many different types of chokers available in the market that you can actually wear them  with different outfits and create a new look with each of these.
Chokers are available in form of a jewellery piece itself or as an attached part of the outfit like top or dress. You can go for a contemporary choker for your western outfits or may be go for a traditional choker with your ethnic outfits.  These days chokers are available in a variety of materials like velvet, rubber, leather, fabrics, diamante, metal etc. Also you can find the chokers in many designs too.You can also wear mutiple chokers together to give an illusion of a longer neck. Also you can go for a necklace layered choker in which a neckchain/necklace is attached witha choker. They look so stylish and cool.
I bought a lace choker from Amazon, that I teamed up with my Forever 21 brown dress. Lace chokers look more feminine and look best with some flirty dresses. They don't look that good with the casual clothes so better to avoid wearing your lace choker with them.
The basic tattoo chokers are the ones that look like a tattoo and are more widely available in the market, etc.  They are more popular also because these can be stretched like a band and can be worn easily. I went for a beaded basic choker that bought from a Delhi mall and I wore it my off-shoulder top that I bought online from Myntra. These chokers look the best with the casual clothes.

Another one of my favourite chokers is the diamante pendant choker that I bought from www.koovs.com. These type of chokers are perfect if you want to add a little bit of drama or glamour to your outfit.

I made this Diwali literally a choker Diwali. Not only did I buy some contemporary chokers, but I borrowed a traditional choker too from my mother.Since my childhood I had seen my mum wearing it with her Indian outfits like saree and lehenga. So this Diwali too I decided to wear it with my lehenga too. And no doubt the swaroski choker looked stunning with my peach lehenga.

Chokers have literally begun to take a place in every fashionable girl's must haves things. Be it the Hollywood celebrities like Rihanna and Kendal Jenner or the Bollywood actresses like Sonam kapoor and Anushka Sharma, everyone's making a fashion statement in it. And I think this is a trend not to be missed. After all it looks so cool and feminine. So girls go ahead, Rock your outfit with a choker and  woo your family and friends.
